The next meeting of the scientific seminar of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was held. Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Rasim Alguliev briefed the participants on the agenda. The seminar was devoted to the discussion of thesis on 1203.01 - "Computer science" for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences, associate Zarifa Jabrayilova to obtain the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences.

Then, associate professor Z.Jabrailova presented the thesis on  "Development of Scientific and Methodological Fundamentals of Intellectual Support for Human Resource Management Decisions in the Information Society", which included five chapters, results, 333 titles of literature and 7 annexes. He noted that 88 scientific works, including 56 articles, 30 lectures, 1 book and 1 express information were published on the subject.

The rapporteur highlighted the relevance of the work, its purpose and the objectives set out to achieve the goal. In an information society, human beings are the main resource and development factor of the economy, the concept of human development with motto "People are the real wealth of each state and development policy in any area should serve them"  has shaped the new world trend in the development of Human Resource Management (HRM) theory and practice.

Z. Jabrayilova said that the purpose of the thesis was to develop the model, method and instrumental tools to support scientifically justified and practical decision-making in IRI on the country's hierarchical levels of management.

Then the questions were answered on the thesis. Corresponding member of ANAS, doctor of technical sciences Ramiz Aliguliyev, PhD in economics, associate professor Alovsat Aliyev, PhD  Bikas Agayev, PhD in technical sciences, associate professor Fargana Abdullayeva participated in the discussions.
