Institute's Chief Specialist Tamilla Bayramova awarded PhD diploma in Technical Sciences

Tamilla Bayramova, Chief Specialist at the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education, has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technical Sciences in the specialty "1203.01 – Computer Science." The PhD diploma was presented to T. Bayramova on September 30, 2026, at the Higher Attestation Commission by its Chairman, Professor Famil Mustafayev.

Within the framework of Tamilla Bayramova's dissertation entitled "Development of methods and algorithms for improving the reliability of software systems," systematic and consistent scientific research was conducted to evaluate the reliability and increase the robustness of software systems. As the culmination of years of research, the dissertation achieved significant results for the formation and development of software engineering in Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that Tamilla Bayramova graduated from the Faculty of Automation and Computing Technology at the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute (now Azerbaijan Technical University) in 1988 and joined the Automated Control Systems Department of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences. Between 1988 and 2019, she served as an engineer, researcher, and head of sector, while actively participating in the development and operation of the ANAS portal (www.science.az).

She is the author of 3 books and nearly 45 scientific publications. Nearly 20 of these have been published in prestigious scientific journals, including 5 indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. The researcher has also represented Azerbaijan at numerous national and international scientific conferences.

Today, Tamilla Bayramova continues her research into the scientific and theoretical aspects of software engineering.
