Dissertation Council holds regular meeting at Institute

The FD 1.35 Dissertation Council held its next meeting at the Institute of Information Technology under the Ministry of Science and Education.

Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Chairman of the Dissertation Council, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), and director general of the Institute of Information Technology, informed the attendees about the agenda, noting that the meeting was dedicated to appointing and approving curators for two dissertations submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technical Sciences.

At the meeting, the Council nominated and approved curators for the dissertation of Ramil Mirzayev, a PhD candidate specializing in 3338.01 – "System analysis, control, and information processing (by fields)" – on the topic "Development of mathematical models for service systems with resources replenished from multiple sources".

Relevant decisions were also adopted regarding the dissertation of Elshan Baghirov, a PhD candidate at the Institute specializing in 3339.01 – "Methods and systems of information protection, information security", titled "Development of intellectual analysis methods and algorithms for malware detection".

Corresponding Member of ANAS Ramiz Aliguliyev, Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov, PhD in Technical Sciences, and Associate Professor Farhad Yusifov, PhD in Technical Sciences, were appointed as curators for applicant Ramil Mirzayev’s dissertation. Meanwhile, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Prof. Masuma Mammadova, Associate Professor Fargana Abdullayeva, PhD in Technical Sciences, and Associate Professor Ramiz Shikhaliyev, PhD in Technical Sciences, were appointed as curators for applicant Elshan Baghirov’s dissertation.
