Conference on "Scientific and Practical Problems of Ensuring State Cyber Sovereignty" continues with sectional sessions

The national conference on “Scientific and Practical Problems of Ensuring State Cyber Sovereignty” continued its work with sectional sessions.

At the sectional session titled “Scientific and Technological Aspects of Ensuring State Cyber Sovereignty,” held under the co-chairmanship of Corresponding Member of ANAS Ramiz Aliguliyev and Doctor of Technical Sciences Yadigar Imamverdiyev, with PhD in Technology Fargana Abdullayeva serving as the scientific secretary, presentations were delivered on the following topics: “A Sustainable and Secure Digital Architecture as a Guarantee of State Cyber Sovereignty,” “Azerbaijan’s Digital Sovereignty Index: An Analytical and Methodological Approach,” “State Data Sovereignty: Approaches and Prospects,” “Sovereignty of Network and Communication Infrastructure: Problems, Security Issues, Risks and Solutions,” “The Place and Role of Digital Forensics in Ensuring Cyber Sovereignty,” “Models of Cyber Sovereignty and Their Comparative Analysis,” and “The State of Scientific Research in the Field of State Cyber Sovereignty: Multidisciplinary Analysis, Trends and Prospects.” The presentations were followed by a question-and-answer session.

At another sectional session titled “Scientific, Political-Legal and Organizational Aspects of Ensuring State Cyber Sovereignty,” held under the co-chairmanship of Corresponding Member of ANAS Masuma Mammadova and PhD in Technology Ziyafat Amirov, with PhD in Technology Ramiz Shikhaliyev serving as the scientific secretary, presentations were delivered on the following topics: “Creation, Application and Counteraction to AI-Based Disinformation,” “State Cyber Sovereignty and New Requirements for Energy Security,” “The Current State and Certain Problems of Training Specialists in Information Security,” “AI-Based Cybersecurity Mechanisms and National Cyber Sovereignty,” “The State’s Linguistic Sovereignty in the Virtual Space: Language Ecosystem, Problems and Solutions,” “Research and Analysis of the Impact of the Population’s Digital Literacy Level on State Cyber Sovereignty,” and “Analysis and Evaluation of the Role of Intellectual Potential in State Cyber Sovereignty,” as well as other topics.

Furthermore, discussions were held around presentations on the following topics: “General Architectural Principles and Functional Components of State Cyber Sovereignty: Problems and Conceptual Approaches,” “Mechanisms for Assessing Social Security on the Digital State Platform,” “Problems in the Formation of National Software Engineering for Ensuring State Cyber Sovereignty,” “The Concept of Cyber Sovereignty and Its Role in the State Security System,” “Recognition of Complex Images: Software Package, Architecture, and Practical Applications,” “Adaptive Cybersecurity in the Energy Sector: Dynamic Risk Models,” “The Dark Web and Cyber Sovereignty: Risks to States and Defense Mechanisms,” and “Cryptocurrencies and the State’s Digital Sovereignty: Current State, Security Issues, and Risks,” among other topics.
