The next scientific seminar of Department No. 10 was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. The employee of the department Gulara Mammadova presented the report "Application of Data Mining Methods in Educational Management".  She said that the widespread adoption and development of digital technologies has led to the collection of large amounts of data in e-learning and the widespread use of intelligent control systems for analyzing and processing this data.

She noted that Data Mining technology, which is considered one of these tools, is used to search for useful and new information when making decisions in various spheres of human activity.

The necessity of defining the tasks of the educational management of electronic learning and the review of the issues that are crucial to the solution.

She pointed out that Data Mining in the field of electronic learning (EDM - Educational data mining) and the use of these methods will provide plenty of training materials.

The speaker made it clear that there is no need to re-process information for processing Big Data, and that these models were built on the basis of small cuts of sections, and that it is possible to use them for the majority.

G. Mamedova, talking about how to solve issues using methods such as classification, regression, clustering, association, sequence Data Mining, gave detailed information about each of these methods.

Views on presentation were exchanged and questions were answered.
