At the meeting of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, the action plan of 2019 on strengthening information security and reliability of AzScienceNet was discussed.

Rashid Alakbarov, deputy director on technology, Ph.D., introduced the plan and drew attention to the work to be done this year. He said that in order to enhance the security and reliability of AzScienceNet, it is planned to purchase equipment, software tools for network information security and monitoring, as well as, introduce an audit organization to assess the cyber-security level of AzScienceNet network.

Speaking about the measures to be taken to ensure the AzScienceNet network's risk management, he underlined that security policies should be adapted and standardized for this purpose.

An exchange of views on the plan took place, questions were answered.
