Perspectives and applications of "Serverless Computing" researched

Next scientific seminar of department №4 was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.

Deputy director on technology, department head, Ph.D. in technical sciences, associate professor Rashid Alakbarov said that the seminar was dedicated to "Serverless Computing: perspectives and application areas".

Speaking on the topic, Ogtay Alakbarov, senior specialist of the institute, informed about the advantages of Cloud Computing.  This is a computing system that utilizes the computing and memory resources of data processing centers of large organizations, helps to use a convenient interface for remote access to certain resources. 

He spoke about cloud technology services such as Infrastructure-as-a-service, Platform-as-a-service, Software-as-a-service, Function-as-a-service and the possibilities of Serverless Computing.
