The next meeting of the Scientific Seminar of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was held. Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the institute, department head, academician Rasim Alguliev said that the meeting was devoted to the discussion of the dissertation work on the theme "Methods and algorithms for the analysis of information war technologies in the wiki-environment".

Then, Irada Alakbarov, the chief of sector, presented her dissertation work and reported that the dissertation included four chapters, key findings, 155 names of literature and supplement. 23 scientific works have been published, 2 books and 2 express-information have been published.

The speaker said that the main purpose of the dissertation work is to detect information manifestations in large volumes of data collected in the Wikipedia virtual encyclopedia, which plays an important role in protecting the national-moral values, historical truths of nations, using the methods and algorithms of intellectual analysis.

Alakbarova gave information about the work done to achieve the goal of the dissertation. She said that Information war technologies in the wiki-environment were analyzed and categorized as ways of solving problems arising from their realization, as well as the analysis of hidden social networks in the wiki environment, methods and algorithms for the effective use of multimedia resources in the Information War.

She also talked about the current status, problems and research objects of wiki metric research. She said that wiki metrics studies included statistical analysis of Wikipedia, wiki-users 'contributions, analysis of social networks and users' reputation, including wiki-content quality in the wiki environment.

Alakbarova presented the methodology for the analysis of hidden social networks in the wiki environment and the development of the algorithm, analyzing the socio-demographic portrait of the wiki-environment, the statistics of the user groups in the Wikipedia, and the discovery of hidden social networks in the wiki environment.

The speaker also provided information on the work done and the results achieved in the development of the method and algorithm for effective use of multimedia resources in the Information war and their experimental verification.

Then the applicant answered numerous questions.

The corresponding member of ANAS, doctor of technical sciences, professor Masuma Mammadova, corresponding member of ANAS, doctor of technical sciences Ramiz Aliguliyev, PhDs on technical sciences Yadigar Imamverdiyev, Shafaget Mahmudova and others, highly appreciated present scientific findings and expressed their opinions and proposals.

Later, the scientific supervisor, academician Rasim Alguliev highlighted the importance of dissertation work. He emphasized that research on information war technology in the wiki-environment is a new for the field of science and that the proposed approaches are of great practical importance. Noting that the dissertation work meets the relevant requirements, the scientist proposed to move the work to the next stage, taking into account the remarks and suggestions.

Experts on Dissertation work- PhDs, technicians Rashid Alakberov and Yadigar Imamverdiyev delivered speeches, claimed that the issues were resolved and scientific innovations were achieved. Scientists have noted that they have responded to the requirements for the dissertation offered by the Higher Attestation Commission for the PhD in Technical Sciences, and have made suggestions.

At the end, voting was held and the dissertation was recommended to move to the next stage unanimously.
