Scientific seminar on "The role of Big data technologies in increasing the efficiency of e-governance" was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.
Speaking at the seminar, academician-secretary of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliyev pointed out that the problem of "Big Data" in the management of modern society is very topical and noted that the use of "Big Data" concepts in various studies of rapidly developing ICT has created the necessity. Today, countries with large databases and intelligent systems have greater development potential.
Emphasizing that knowledge and great data in the information society have become strategic products and national resources, the academician noted that by using these resources properly, it is possible to achieve optimal outcomes by making optimal decisions in any area.
Later, broad discussions were held on the subject. Head of the department, corresponding member of ANAS, Ph.D. Ramiz Aliguliyev noted that, as in the whole world, e-demographic research is needed in Azerbaijan, and these studies are based on the security, social and economic development of the country's information space, is very important for you. According to the scientist, issues such as system development, governance, good governance, and security should be resolved consistently.
Director of the Institute, Rasim Mahmudov, highlighted the conceptual foundations of the creation of a necessary ecosystem for the formation and development of the Big Data strategy, studies on the study and analysis of advanced international experience in this area.
Fargana Abdullayeva, a leading scientific worker, Ph.D., associate professor, spoke about the state of the state of the cyber-security and its elimination. Commenting on the researches conducted in this direction, R. Alguliyev said that it is important to analyze the nature of the e-government concept on the cloud. He noted that the results of the relevant studies are important in terms of ensuring the development, sustainability and security of the e-government. According to him, strategic objects that ensure the security of society are closely linked to cloud technologies.
Head of the department, Ph.D. in technical sciences, associate professor Farhad Yusifov said that research on Big data analysis platform for e-governance, research on the development of a conceptual model of e-demography, which is the core of e-governance, has been presented to authoritative foreign magazines in the form of articles.
Chief specialist Irada Alakbarova spoke about the role of the social credit system in the formation of e-government. She noted that the use of Big data technologies to solve social issues such as social capital, financial capital, and citizen's confidence can be effective.
