Main scientific achievements

  • Automated text summarization problem was reduced to linear and non-linear mathematical programming issues with absolute value; and neural algorithm, as well as the algorithms based on adaptive and self-adaptive differential evolution and particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithms were proposed for their solution;
  • Modified p-median method and self-adaptive differential evolution algorithm for automated text summarization was proposed;
  • A method for automated summary measuring was proposed;
  • Multiple clustering methods and algorithms were proposed for grouping the sets of text documents by their content;
  • A new measure was proposed to determine the semantic proximity of the texts;
  • A formula was proposed to find an optimal number of clusters of texts clustering;
  • Modified weight k-means method was proposed;
  • A new clustering method was proposed for spam filtering;
