Collection of "Developing academic staff" has been published at "Information Technology" publishing house.

The authors of the new publication are the director of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, academician-secretary of ANAS, acad. Rasim Alguliyev, head of Training Innovation Center of the institute Rasmiyya Mahmudova and sector chief Sabira Allahvediyeva.

The publication is designed to provide information support for scientific monitoring within the framework of the “National Strategy for Science Development in 2009-2015 in the Republic of Azerbaijan” and the “State Program on the implementation of the National Strategy for Science Development in 2009-2015 in the Republic of Azerbaijan".

The book is developed basing on the analytical process of survey data of all doctoral and Phd students, who passed examinations in Informatics at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS during the period of 2003-2013.

The publication includes the statistics on the distribution of the total number of post-graduates, for years, research institutions, research areas, age, gender and other factors.

The collection is a valuable source of information for scientists and employees for the organization, management, financing, monitoring and evaluation of research activity.
