The presentation of the official website of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy (ASMA), enriched with new opportunities meeting modern requirements.

Sevinj Rzayeva, Head of the ASMA’s Information Resource Center, speaking at the opening, noted that the first site of the ASMA was prepared and put into practice by the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS in 2015. According to him, today the high level of development of information technologies has necessitated improvement and updating of ASMA website.

Then, department head at the Institute of Information Technology Gulnara Nabibayeva said that today the establishment of website of any organization is of great importance. He noted that adda.edu.az site developed by the specialists of the institute was fully ensured with the "Requirements for Creating and Management of Internet Information Resources of the State Authorities" and approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and adapted to the requirements of the Special State Protection Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Zaur Mustafayev, an engineer at the ADDA Information Resource Center, spoke about the advantages of the new version of the site and said that he designed a high level of design, software and information.

Then the programmer of the institute Sarkhan Yolchuyev gave detailed information about adda.edu.az website. He said that the site, which operates in 3 languages (Azerbaijani, English and Russian), will be published in "Academy", "Structure", "Academic Education", "Faculties", "Science" sections. In the section "Guides" of the site it is planned to place photo and video materials reflecting the important events organized in the Academy. According to him, the site created on the basis of the latest technology has a broad search system, useful links and links to social networks.

At the end, the rector of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy, PhD in technical sciences Chingiz Aliyev spoke about the measures taken to establish and develop scientific cooperation between the Institute of Information Technology and the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy. President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, Director of the Institute of Information Technology, academician Rasim Alguliev and staff of the Institute expressed their gratitude for their assistance in the creation of a new version of the website.
