Ramiz Aliguliyev, Head of Department at the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, Director of the Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence of Azerbaijan Technical University, and a Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), was a guest on Baku TV's “Current Agenda” program. In his speech, the scientist noted that over the past 20 years, significant state programs and national strategies have been adopted in the country to foster the development of the information society and promote digital transformation. The scientist described the Unified Action Plan on “Azerbaijan's New Digital Architecture” as a logical continuation of the work carried out in this direction.
Ramiz Aliguliyev, a Corresponding Member of the ANAS highlighted the significance of the “Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025–2028,” adopted by President Ilham Aliyev. He emphasized that national resources in the field of natural language processing must be developed in the country and that the scientific and technological foundation for the creation of large language models should be strengthened.
