Ramiz Aliguliyev, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Head of the Department at the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education, and Director of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Institute at Azerbaijan Technical University, joined Baku TV’s “Aktual Gündəm” (“Current Agenda”) program via video link.
In the program titled “How will the new wave of professions change Azerbaijan?”, Corresponding Member of ANAS Ramiz Aliguliyev discussed the new realities that artificial intelligence is shaping in the labor market. The scholar noted that the demand for information technology specialists is increasing rapidly compared to many traditional fields.
Corresponding Member of ANAS Ramiz Aliguliyev emphasized the importance of integrating science and education in the preparation of textbooks and in the selection and updating of educational content. He also provided information about the work carried out in this direction at the Institute of Information Technology.
The scholar noted that the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies is causing structural changes in the labor market. He added that while this process creates opportunities for the emergence of new professions, it also leads to a loss of relevance for certain specialties.
