Methods and models developed to increase the effectiveness of software based on Soft Computing

This year, the Department No.9 of Institute Information Technology of ANAS will conduct research on the theoretical foundations of software engineering and the study of quality indicators of software systems. To this end, it is planned to develop methods and models for improving software performance based on Soft Computing technology, develop a method and model for improving software reliability, research software testing methods, as well as study software maintenance and monitoring problems.

Associate professor Tofig Kazimov presented the action plan of the department.

The head of the department informed about the upcoming work on the participation of department staff in international and national conferences, the publication of scientific articles in prestigious journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, scientific, educational and scientific-organizational activities,  measures carried out in the framework of promotion of scientific and practical results in mass media.

In conclusion, Academician Rasim Aliguliyev voiced his suggestions and comments regarding the action plan of the department, and also stressed the importance of strengthening the scientific activities of the department.

An exchange of views on the plan took place, questions were answered.
