Anti-plagiarism service at the Institute of Information Technology to be developed

The senior researcher of the Institute, Rahila Hasanova, gave information about the types of plagiarism, at the meeting of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.

She also presented the unlicensed software downloads rating and the Symantec Internet Security Threats Report. According to the 2015 report, more than 1 million new threats were created every year, and the number of cybercrime attacks increased by 35% and 65% of these attacks targeted small and medium-sized organizations.

R.  Hasanova spoke about online anti-plagiarism systems online and focused on ways to combat plagiarism.

Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev noted that application of anti-plagiarism systems in scientific-research and educational institutions is of special importance in terms of fight against plagiarism.
