Doctoral exams on computer science were terminated at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.
656 took part in the session, 285 were PhD students, and 371 were candidates for a degree. 19% of PhD students and candidates for a degree were specialized in the field of physical and mathematical and technical sciences, 18% - in the chemical, biological and medical sciences, 8% in the Earth sciences, in the agrarian and geographical sciences, 55% in the socio-political, socio-economic and humanitarian sciences, head of the Training and Innovation Center (UIC) Rasmiya Makhmudova gave information.
113 of participants were PhD students of ANAS, 543 were from other scientific and educational structures. 35% of the exam participants were men, 65% were women.
Since September 2017, various courses for PhD students and candidates for a degree have been organized in order to prepare for the examinations at the Education Innovation Center (UIC). These courses taught the theoretical and practical foundations of computer science. Test examinations for scientific researchers have been conducted; the necessary information has been given on the general rules of the exam.
It should be noted that since 2003, the teaching of computer science to PhD students and candidates for a degree of the republic and the admission of doctoral examinations on Informatics has been conducted centrally at the Institute of Information Technologies. Starting from June 2013, the doctoral examinations on computer science for PhD students and candidates for a degree have been conducted by electronic testing on the initiative of ANAS leadership.
