Head of the department No 16 Gulnara Nabibayova presented the report on the "Approach to the measurement of cross-border integration processes”. The trend of integration is a higher level of interaction between the countries, she stressed. The key objectives of the integration are the use of macro-economy, the creation of a favorable environment for foreign policy, customs policy, she said.

Note that, geographical proximity of the member countries, common history, high political culture are the factors affecting cross-border integration. Integration indicators of the countries include international treaties and the number of assemblies between government bodies.

The reported presented the reflection of the integration process of the countries in OLAP-based decision support systems in foreign policy, as well as, obtaining a number of indicators automatically through the system.

The report was discussed, and a number of proposals and recommendations were expressed.
