Robots have learned to recognize emotions in 98% of cases
Scientists at the University of Case said they were able to teach artificial intelligence to recognize human emotions by facial expression with an accuracy of 98% of cases. They presented a report on their work at the 2018 IEEE Games, Entertainment and Media Conference.

The researchers say that in this way they will improve artificial intelligence in interactive games and help create the next generation of personalized robots that can coexist alongside people without inconveniencing the latter. New equipment was developed by Kyu Lee, an associate professor in the field of mechanical and aerospace engineering at the Keysov School of Engineering and a graduate student Xiao Liu.
