Cooperation between Institute of Information Technology and Azerbaijan Technical University continues successfully

The Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education carries out consistent and purposeful efforts toward the integration of science and education. This activity is of great importance in terms of the integration of science, education, and innovation; the dissemination of advanced knowledge obtained at scientific institutions and its transfer to education; and the training of highly qualified personnel, among other aspects. The institute's staff regularly take an active part in academic events held at higher education institutions, contributing to this process by serving on examination committees.

As a continuation of the work carried out in this direction, staff members of the Institute of Information Technology participated in the meetings of the Specialized Councils established for the defense of dissertations of master's students completing their studies in relevant specialties at Azerbaijan Technical University during the 2025–2026 academic year. In these meetings, Dr. Rashid Alakbarov, Associate Professor and Executive Director of the Institute, and Dr. Farghana Abdullayeva, Associate Professor and leading researcher, served as chairs of the councils.

It should be recalled that a Memorandum of Understanding "On Cooperation in Conducting Joint Scientific Research" was signed between the Institute of Information Technology and Azerbaijan Technical University. The memorandum envisions the implementation of joint scientific research between the parties and scientific supervision for master's and doctoral students, as well as the establishment and development of cooperative relations in other areas of mutual interest.
