At the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, the senior researcher of the Institute Rahila Hasanova made a presentation  “Methods of detecting plagiarism and anti-plagiarism”. Speaking about the types of plagiarism, the speaker said that the direct transfer of plagiarism is carried out by minimalism (changing some words or phrases from the original material, but retaining the same content and structure), combining and other methods.

R. Hasanova spoke about   "Advego Plagiatus", "Plagiarism Checker", "antiplagiarism.NET" and other anti-plagiarism systems. 

Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, academician Rasim Aliguliyev noted that the institute conducts research in the field of anti-plagiarism. He recommended the further deepening of research in this direction and the preparation of dissertation papers.
