The next meeting of the Scientific Board was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, which is devoted to the discussion of the action plan of Department No. 16 for 2019. The action plan of the department was presented by the head of the department Gulnara Nabibayova.

The site of ANAS www.science.gov.az, the site of the institute www.ikt.az and websites located in the Data Center of the AzScienceNet are technically supported. She also stressed that it is planned to develop the design and software of the www.transliteration.az website.

G. Nabibayova also informed about the upcoming work in the direction of scientific-pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities, participation of department staff in international and national conferences, publication of scientific articles in prestigious journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, promotion of scientific and practical results in the media.

Then there was an exchange of views on the action plan of the department, the answers to numerous questions were voiced.

In conclusion, Academician Rasim Aliguliyev voiced his suggestions and comments regarding the action plan of the department, and also stressed the importance of strengthening the scientific activities of the department.
