It is known that one of the reforms carried out in ANAS to support gender policy of the was the creation of the Women's Council by country's leadership. The Women's Council, which serves to stimulate and support the activities of the Academy's female staff, has begun to work at various academia’s research institutions.

To this end, the Women's Council was established in May 2018 at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. The main purpose of the Council is to assist and care for women's employment, labor and social issues and if there are certain problems, it is the issue to be addressed to the leadership and relevant agencies. One of the main tasks of the Council is the organization of excursions and tours to the city, going to concerts and theatres for employees to spend their day offs and leisure time effectively.

With the organizational support of the Women's Council and the Trade Committee, employees of the institute have watched the performance "Qaranlıqda nur" dedicated to the 135th anniversary of Hussein Javid at the Azerbaijan State Musical Theater.

Also, excursion to the National History Museum of Azerbaijan was organized, information historical exhibits reflecting our national history, exhibits of different periods, reflecting the clothes, household equipment, hobbies of our people, historical heroes, prominent statesmen and etc. were provided.

On November 17, a group of employees of the Institute visited the National Azerbaijan Literature Museum named after Nizami Ganjavi. The exhibits of the museum include various exhibits of life and creativity of prominent writers, poets, enlighteners of our country, the art examples created by our contemporary artists and sculptors in perpetuating their memory.

The Institute’s staff thanked the museum leadership for organizing free excursion.
