An Action Plan for the year 2018 was discussed at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. PhD, Associate Professor Tofig Kazimov presented the department's activity plan, including scientific-theoretical bases of programming, development of methods and algorithms for increasing the productivity of software using different technologies, model development for software product reliability, software engineering and that their research will be carried out on the analysis of their application areas. That comparative analysis and classification of software product verification and validation methods are among the topics to be explored this year, he noted.

He also noted that research is being carried out to provide information security and research on biometric technologies. He added that for this purpose, the study of methods and algorithms for the development of children's Internet protection methods and recognition of human beings on the basis of traces of human handwriting with the use of intelligent technologies will be investigated.

Speaking about the scientific-innovation activities of the department, the scientist pointed out that it is intended to participate in several grant projects.

He also informed about the participitation of department's staff  in international and national level conferences , publication of scientific articles in international and national level journals recommended by the AR Supreme Attestation Commission, the scientific indicators of the department, the establishment and development of international scientific cooperation relations, and the promotion of scientific and practical results in the media.

In the end, discussions were held, questions were answered.
