The Action Plan of  Department No.3 for the 2018 was discussed at the Institute of Information Technology.   The study of scientific-theoretical problems of information technologies and e-science formation and development of effective methods will be continued, Head of the department Tahmasib Fataliyev said.

T.Fataliyev noted that the department participates in two grant projects in the institute. The first of them is the development of Science and its functional subsystems for development of new methods and algorithms for Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and another is the Research Foundation of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) "Investigating the Problems of Application of Internet Technologies in Oil and Gas Industry".

International cooperation with the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences, United Institute of Informatics Problems and Istanbul Halik University will be  continued this year.

He also gave detailed information on the activities carried out within the current year in the field of scientific-pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities, promotion of scientific-practical results in mass media.
