III Republican scientific-practical seminar on "Actual problems of information security" successfully completed its work.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the chairmen of the sessions noted the significance of the conference in exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience, solving existing problems in the field of information security in the country and training of highly-qualified cadres.

Academician-secretary of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev, director of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, highly appreciated the presentations at the sessions and recommended deepening of research on Internet of Things, Big Data, cloud technologies, software engineering, electronic science and other information security problems.

"Enlightenment issues on information security should be strengthened," said R. Alguliyev, stressing the importance of attracting public attention to the research on current issues and the results achieved.

The scientist pointed out that the issues discussed at the event are mainly dedicated to the technological problems of information security, emphasizing the need to improve the quality of education, strengthen human resources and study international practice in this area.

It was proposed to prepare a draft decision of the seminar, taking into account the latter.
