Today, the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS discussed the report of the Trade Committee of the organization for 2013-2017. At the event academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute of Information Technology, academician Rasim Aliguliev, deputy director, doctor of technical sciences Rashid Alakbarov, acting chairman of ANAS Free Trade Committee, doctor of law, professor Habil Gurbanov, a member of the Free Trade Union of Presidium, PhD in history Abuzar Alekberov and employees of the Institute participated.

R. Alakbarov opened the event with the opening remarks and highlighted the issues on the agenda, highlighting the presence of the Trade Committee and the Revision Commission, the selection of the new staff of both organizations and other organizational issues.

Then, chairman of the Institute's Trade Committee, head of department Sayyar Abdullayev presented the committee's five-year report and stated that the Trade Committee defended the labor, social and economic rights of employees.

S. Abdullayev noted that the Trade Union of the Institute operates under the requirements of the Charter of the Free Trade Union of ANAS. He noted that labour law and protection of vulnerable families, organization and management of cultural events, effective work with youth and leisure time, etc is one of the main activities of TC.

He also provided detailed information on the work schedule of the staff, collective visits to leisure centres every year, an organization of transportation to the treatment centres for institute employees, and complex work in sports, health, culture and other spheres.

Then, PhD in Technical Sciences Bikas Aghayev made a report on the Audit Commission. He informed about the results of the inspection by the Trade Committee of the Institute in 2013-2017. He said that the total number of the institute's staff is 446 people, each of them a member of the local TC. Inspections have shown that, in all cases, the activities of the TC are in line with the requirements of regulatory documents. 

At the meeting, department heads, PhD in physics-mathematics, docent Tofig Kazimov, PhD in economics, docent Alovsat Aliyev, PhD in technical sciences Vugar Musayev and sector manager Afruz Gurbanova shared their opinions on the work done by Trade Committee. It was noted that during 5 years, S.Abdullayev's invaluable services were to solve various problems of the institute's employees, to bring them together and to take an active part in the organization's social life and to carry out other organizational work at a high level.

Then a new composition of the Trade Committee and the Inspection Commission, as well as voting for the election of delegates to the Congress and the Assembly were held, and the new composition was unanimously approved. According to the results of the poll, S. Abdullayev was re-elected as head of the Trade Union Committee for the next five years.

Then, Prof. Habil Gurbanov, chairman of the Free Trade Union (AID), spoke. He said that the main goal of the AHI is to assist the solution of social, social and other problems of the staff of the Academy in accordance with the instructions of the leadership of ANAS. H.Gurbanov informed about the work carried out in this direction and the results achieved. He said that in the near future, the employees of ANAS are expected to undertake complex measures to build new apartments, open medical centres and solve other household problems.

He also noted that the institute's  Trade Committee is one of the leading trade unions of ANAS and positively assessed its activities and wished S.Abdullayev success in his future work.

Academician Rasim Alguliev said that the Free Trade Committee has done considerable work to protect the socio-economic interests of the Academy staff, labor rights, improve their health, work, recreation and living conditions. The President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, noted that he always paid attention to the trade committees of the Academy, and provided them with the necessary assistance for more dynamic and efficient activity.

The scientist emphasized that the Trade Committee has fulfilled an important mission and called on the institute's employees to work together and to actively participate in this process to further improve its activities.
