Amendments to the "law of the bloggers" will be submitted to the State Duma before the end of the spring session.

The Council of Russian Federation introduced a new bill that provides an introduction of the new concepts "social network", "stand-alone blog", "blogger", "popular blogger" and "profile/account/blog to the law "On information, information technologies and information protection". Relevant amendments have been developed by Senator Konstantin Dobrynin and bloggers Nicholay Kamnev and Roman Romanov.
