Institute researchers attend international conference

The research paper co-authored by Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov, PhD in Technical Sciences, Executive Director at the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education, and Mammad Hamidov, a doctoral student at the institute, was presented at the “7th International Conference on Smart Systems and Innovative Technologies (ICSSIT 2026).” The conference was held in India on July 28–30, 2026, with the support of IEEE.

The presentation titled "A Network-Level Cybersecurity Risk Detection Model for Cloud-Based Smart Transportation Systems" analyzed the cybersecurity risks posed by cloud computing environments in smart transportation systems and proposed a conceptual model to mitigate them.

Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov and doctoral student Mammad Hamidov were awarded certificates for their active participation in the conference.
