The Institute of Information Technology under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan successfully continues its efforts to strengthen the integration of science and education and to expand cooperation with higher education institutions. The Institute maintains scientific relations with Azerbaijan Technical University, Baku State University, the Baku branch of Moscow State University, Azerbaijan Medical University, Baku Business University, and other higher education institutions.

Within the framework of this collaboration, fourth-year Bachelor's students of Baku State University's SABAH groups, majoring in Computer Science, completed their internship at the respective departments of the institute from February 16 to June 19. The primary objective of the internship was to enable students to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during their higher education to real-world practice, develop their professional skills, and gain practical experience in information technology.

During their internship, the students were involved in research projects focusing on current scientific problems in information technology. The Institute's scientists and specialists provided them with theoretical and practical knowledge in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, cybersecurity, software engineering, cloud technologies, cyber-physical systems, and other cutting-edge fields.

At the conclusion of the internship, the students submitted reports reflecting the knowledge and skills they had acquired, and their performance was evaluated by their internship supervisor, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Farhad Yusifov.
