Academician Rasim Alguliyev appears as guest on Real TV – VIDEO

Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Vice-President of ANAS and Director General of the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education, was a guest on Real TV.

During the program, the Academician noted that the state policy on cybersecurity implemented in the country in recent years had acquired a consistent and systematic character. He emphasized that the Strategy on Information Security and Cybersecurity for 2023–2027 plays an important role in ensuring the resilience of the digital environment. The Vice-President of ANAS stated that all critical systems in the country currently operate on digital platforms, bringing cybersecurity to the forefront as a strategic national security issue. According to the scientist, relevant state agencies are consistently and purposefully implementing measures aimed at forming a cybersecurity ecosystem — one of the foundational pillars of the digital state.

Academician Alguliyev assessed the establishment of the National Cybersecurity Agency by the relevant Decree of President Ilham Aliyev as an important milestone of this policy. He noted that the Agency will ensure the protection of information and critical information infrastructures, cyber threat management, coordination, and awareness-raising based on a unified institutional mechanism.
