Cloud computing technologies provide flexible and efficient solutions for the storage, processing, and distribution of large-scale data within modern digital infrastructure. At the same time, their open and distributed architecture gives rise to new security risks.
The report co-authored by Rashid Alakbarov, Executive Director of the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education, PhD in Technology, and Associate Professor; Mammad Hashimov, Leading Researcher and PhD in Technology; and Oktay Alakbarov, Chief Specialist, provided information on this matter.
At the 6th International Conference on Expert Clouds and Applications (ICOECA 2026), held in Bengaluru, India, M. Hashimov delivered a speech and presented the report in an online format. Presenting the findings of the research titled “Artificial Intelligence Based Behavior Adaptive Authentication Model in Solving Security Problems of Cloud Computing Systems,” he noted that in recent years, AI technologies have offered effective approaches for identifying and preventing security issues in cloud systems. The speaker stated that, within the framework of the study, applications of artificial intelligence in cloud system security were analyzed, and an adaptive defense method capable of detecting anomalies by monitoring user behavior in real time was proposed.
It should be noted that the main focus areas of ICOECA 2026 include cloud computing and distributed systems, AI and machine learning, big data analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, cybersecurity and cloud security, as well as smart applications and intelligent systems.
