Academician Rasim Alguliyev became a guest on the program “Khabarimiz Var" on the Ictimai Television – VIDEO

Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Vice-President of ANAS and Director General of the Institute of Information Technology under the Ministry of Science and Education, was a guest on the program “Khabarimiz Var” (“We Have News”) on Ictimai Television.

During the program, Academician Alguliyev discussed the issues addressed at the meeting dedicated to the Unified Action Plan on “Azerbaijan’s New Digital Architecture,” held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. He stated that the essence of the new digital architecture lies in the systematic and coordinated implementation of digital transformation throughout the country, the strengthening of institutional mechanisms, and the implementation of comprehensive reforms in public administration. Within this framework, energy security, the development of data centers, the widespread application of artificial intelligence (AI), and the improvement of monitoring and management mechanisms have been identified as key priorities.

The scientist also emphasized that AI carries strategic importance on a global scale. He added that it is essential to develop the necessary knowledge and skills in this field starting from secondary school.
