Staff members of the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education delivered presentations at the 28th Republican Scientific Conference of Doctoral Students and Young Researchers (NASCO XXVIII), dedicated to the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty”.
The conference held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) was jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Education, the State Agency for Science and Higher Education (SASHE), and ASOIU.
At the scientific conference, the Institute’s researchers Gulnar Pashayeva and Saadat Abdullayeva, as well as Chief Specialist Sunbul Zalova, delivered presentations at the plenary sessions.
The sessions featured presentations by G. Pashayeva titled “A Brief Overview of the History of Computer Science”, S. Abdullayeva titled “The Application of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Online Media Monitoring: Opportunities and Challenges”, and S. Zalova titled “The Role, Challenges, and Advantages of Deepfake Technologies in Digital Media”. The Institute’s employees were awarded certificates for their presentations.
It should be noted that at the “NASCO XXVIII” Conference, doctoral students and young scientists conducting research at various higher education and research institutions across the country, as well as Azerbaijani doctoral students and young researchers carrying out research abroad, presented the results of their studies.
The main aim of the conference is to promote academic exchange, support the professional development of young researchers, and create a platform for the discussion of new ideas in various scientific fields.
