A new approach to the concept of "Smart OLAP" is presented

The article titled "Development of an Architectural and Technological Model of a Distributed Smart OLAP System on the E-Government Platform" by Gulnara Nabibayeva, Head of the Department at the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education and a PhD in Technical Sciences, has been published in the "Journal of Electrical Systems and Information Technology" by Springer.

The article investigates electronic government models, including Government-to-Citizen (G2C), Government-to-Business (G2B), Government-to-Employee (G2E), and Government-to-Government (G2G), with particular attention given to the possibilities of the G2G model. It was noted that the G2G model describes relationships between government agencies based on the exchange of information, services, and information systems between government agencies and departments at national and international levels.

It was stated that the era of Industry 4.0 is characterized by the emergence of new information and communication technologies, rapid technological development, new types of threats, and the availability of data generated from numerous sources. In the context of e-government, an increase is also observed in the volume and diversity of data, as well as in the number of data sources. As a result, the use of such a useful and widespread technology as OLAP in its traditional form has become ineffective and impractical, and in some cases, impossible, due to the complexity of classification, clustering, forecasting, data analysis, and decision-making processes. It has made the transition from traditional OLAP to "smart" OLAP necessary.

The article presents a new approach to the concept of "smart OLAP." This approach forms the foundation of the hybrid model of the "smart" OLAP system developed in the e-government environment.
