The results of this year's doctoral admission to the Institute were discussed at the latest meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Information Technology under the Ministry of Science and Education.
Associate Professor Farhad Yusifov, Doctor of Philosophy in Technology, and Head of the Institute’s Education Department, announced that the Institute’s Doctoral Program successfully admitted two candidates for the "Computer Sciences" (1203.01) specialty and two candidates for the "System Analysis, Control, and Information Processing" (3338.01) specialty.
Following this, F. Yusifov provided detailed information regarding the newly admitted doctoral students, their dissertation topics, and their academic supervisors.
Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Vice-President of ANAS and Director General of the Institute, delivered a speech noting that significant measures are currently being taken in our country toward the integration of science and education. He added that the organization of doctoral-level education, which contributes to the innovative development of Azerbaijani science, at the Ministry of Science and Education's scientific institutions, including the Institute, generates significant opportunities for young researchers. The scholar stated that individual work is carried out with each doctoral student at the Institute, and all necessary conditions have been created for them to conduct scientific research at an international level.
R. Alguliyev congratulated the newly admitted doctoral students, advised them to benefit from the Institute's existing scientific environment and experience, acquire scientific-theoretical and practical knowledge, and wished the young researchers success in their future endeavors.
Finally, the dissertation topics of the Institute's new doctoral students were approved by the decision of the Scientific Council.
