The execution status of the scientific research project on the cyber sovereignty of the electronic state was discussed at the institute

A seminar was held at the Institute of Information Technology under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan to discuss the current year's progress on the Ministry of Science and Education-funded research project titled "Development of intellectual methods and algorithms for the formation of a cyber-sovereign state and ensuring its information security."

Addressing the event, Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Director General of the Institute of Information Technology under the Ministry of Science and Education, stated that active participation in scientific research projects not only increases the effectiveness of the institute's scientific activities but also makes a significant contribution to presenting the obtained results to the public.

Academician R. Alguliyev noted that the primary goal of the seminar was to evaluate the state of the research and the results obtained within the project during the current year. He emphasized that the project encompasses research of great strategic importance, focusing on the formation of the cyber-sovereign state concept and the development of its reliability, security, and sustainability mechanisms. The academician also highlighted that the results of the conducted research are scheduled to be presented at a scientific session at the institute, which will be dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" and International Information Security Day, under the theme "Actual scientific-theoretical and practical problems in ensuring state cyber sovereignty."

Then, the project participants presented reports on the work completed in the second and third quarters of the year. An exchange of views was held on the research directions, and participants' questions were answered.

In conclusion, academician Rasim Alguliyev expressed his confidence that the studies conducted within the framework of the project will make significant contributions to the development of the country's science and voiced several suggestions and recommendations regarding the scientific problems.
