Management of techno-economic development and decision-making mechanisms in the context of Industry 4.0

A report titled “Aspects of improving decision-making mechanisms for the technological economic development processes on the Industry 4.0 Platform,” co-authored by Doctor of Economic Sciences Prof. Alovsat Aliyev, Head of Department at the Institute of Information Technology under the Ministry of Science and Education, and Assoc. Prof. Roza Shahverdiyeva, Senior Researcher at the Institute, was presented at the 6th International Conference on “Cybernetics and Informatics Problems” (PCI 2025).

Presenting the report, Assoc. Prof. R. Shahverdiyeva emphasized the significance of improving decision-making mechanisms in the context of technological and economic development processes within Industry 4.0. She discussed the measures implemented in our country in the fields of digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and other key directions. R. Shahverdiyeva also noted that the research analyzed existing scientific approaches to the development of digital technology-based decision-making mechanisms aimed at increasing operational efficiency across new-generation technological economy sectors.

The speaker explained the transformation directions of economic development processes on the Industry 4.0 platform, the tools for processing management information in the digital economy, and the specifics of applying multi-criteria decision-making methods. She also presented a conceptual model, outlining her proposals and recommendations for improving decision-making mechanisms.
