Compact fire and refrigeration electric cars introduced

Panasonic showed compact fire and refrigeration electric vehicles. They are designed for business and will help small companies save on the formation of a fleet and reduce the carbon footprint.

The corporation developed compact electric cars together with the California startup Tropos Motors. Vehicles are intended for small companies that provide services for the delivery of products of commercial fleets and utilities.
According to hightech.fm, the compact fire engine has the same features as a full-size fire truck. Moreover, its cost, according to companies, is 10 times less (with an average cost of a fire truck in the United States about $ 500 thousand). The model is equipped with a TOUGHBOOK FZ-G1 tablet for navigation, tracking emergency information and communicating with the operator. The relatively small size will allow the efficient use of this electric car, even in very limited spaces, where large cars cannot drive.

The electric refrigerator is equipped with eight Hussmann refrigerators, which, thanks to their special vacuum thermal insulation, keep the cold 13 times more efficient than conventional polyurethane containers for freezing, the developers say. At the same time, the cameras are recyclable and reusable, and also do not require additional cooling - this reduces the energy consumption from the batteries.
