The Institute of Information Technology of ANAS held a meeting with the students who qualified the final round of the IX Republican Competition "Scientists of Future".
The meeting was attended by ANAS Vice President, Director of the Institute, Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Deputy Director on ICT at the European Lyceum Rahila Aliyarzadeh, faculty members, as well as members of the Scientific Council of the Institute and young scientists.
Academician Rasim Alguliyev said that the main purpose of the meeting with the students at the Institute was to increase the interest of students in science.

The scientist noted that for this purpose, youth Olympiads were organized and various scientific and technological projects were implemented. The director of the institute expressed confidence that the interactive work with the students of the lyceum to increase their interest in science would be a great success. He noted that as part of this cooperation, the Institute's staff, undergraduates, as well as members of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council will support students in enhancing their ICT knowledge and skills.

Academician also noted that the National Scientific and Practical Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Challenges, Problems and Perspectives will be held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS in May this year, dedicated to the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day. invited him to attend the conference closely.
The students then presented computer science projects to the IX Republican Competition "Scientists of Tomorrow", which will be held on February 11-13, 2020, as part of the International Science and Engineering Fair. Ruslan Bayramov, the 11th-grade student at the academy Zarifa Aliyeva High School, uses the robot "Plant Disease & Cause Detection" using the Deep Learning robot that small and medium-sized entrepreneurs can use in farming, Selcan Kerimli and Nuray The Coder Hub, Karimli's 10th-graders, Maharram Akbarov and Kamal Alizadeh presented their Health & Donate projects
"Women with great potential in computer science cannot succeed in programming because of the problems and misconceptions caused by mentality in society," Kerimli said, noting that the main purpose of writing this application is to prove that programming is not inaccessible.
She said that this application is a software product written in the "REACT Native framework" of JavaScript programming language. She noted that those interested in programming will be able to learn the most popular programming languages of the time, such as "C ++", "Java Script", "Python" and noted that the school program includes test samples to check the rate of proficiency of the course and that users will be given certificates at the end of the course.
Expressing her desire to become a cosmonaut in the future, Kerimli spoke about the features of the application and said that it is suitable for any age group and does not require Internet support when using it. At the end of the school, he emphasized that the application is not just for women, but that anyone interested in programming can benefit from it.
Maharram Akbarov and Kamal Alizade, 10th-grade students from the 9th Republican competition "Scientists of Future" presented the project "Health & Donate". Speaking about the urgent problems of today, M. Akbarov said that this program will help people. He emphasized that the program also includes an online doctor, donor, drug shopping, and the nearest hospital.
The schoolchildren also noted that the application developed using the Java Script software language can be used in both Android and iOS operating systems.
Speaking later, the Deputy Director of the European High School Rahila Aliyarzadeh said that students prepared these projects for the competition with the scientific guidance and advice of the Institute of Information Technology. Thus, Bayramov brought the robot "Plant Disease & Cause Detection using Deep Learning" under the guidance of Ph.D., Associate Professor, Yadigar Imamverdiyev.
The supervisor of the Coder Hub project and the Health & Donate application developed by schoolchildren of Baku European High School is Yusif Imamverdiyev, the colleague of the Institute.
At the end of his speech, R. Aliyarzade thanked the academician Rasim Alguliyev, scientific leaders of the projects, as well as each member of the staff of the Institute for the assistance and moral support
