Robots are preparing to celebrate Christmas and 2020 in New York

Robots are also actively involved in this year's New Year's Christmas and New Year celebrations in New York.

They demonstrated their abilities in the festive windows at Bloomingdale's flagship store.

Eleven robots on Bloomingdale's showcase for several days play on various musical instruments, offer coffee to customers and even perform karaoke.

The collaboration between store, ABB robots and robot animator Andy Flessas aims to demonstrate how robots could be used in retail in the future, bbcnews reports.
