Xiaomi introduced a photo printer called Jiyin Gramophone Photo Printer. Its key feature is the ability to print AR-marks, which makes it possible to "revive" photos.
The printer is capable of printing 6-inch photos with a resolution of 300 dpi. It takes no more than one minute to print each such photograph. Immediately in the automatic mode, a special coating is applied to the image, designed to prevent fading, damage by splashes of water or fingerprints. It is also reported that the device supports various connection options.
According to planet-today.ru, "live" photos are created as follows: first, through cloud storage, the necessary additional materials are attached to the future image. Further, already during the printing itself, special AR tags are applied to the image. And already scanning the resulting pictures through the camera of a smartphone or other similar device, you can see the video, the duration of which is from 3 to 60 seconds.
It is also noted that the device is a mobile version, weighing a little less than one and a half kilograms and when fully charged, can print about 40 photos.
The declared cost of the new photo printer is about $ 100.
