This time, the main topic was the Internet of feelings - this is the economics of services provided using digital sensors and involving all the senses: vision, hearing, taste, smell and touch. The Internet of feelings will form services created on the basis of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), 5G and automation.
The opinion of 46 million people who were the first to use new technologies was used for the report. Participants in the study hope that the Internet of senses will become ubiquitous by 2030 - by this time more and more serious competition for electronic devices will be services using sensors that will become almost inseparable elements of physical reality.
We are talking about the transition from smartphones as devices for connecting to the Internet to use services based on augmented reality, involving our senses. The starting point will be augmented reality glasses.
Most digital users hope that through the Internet of feelings, people will become more responsible for the environment.
There is a flip side to this inspiring idea. Users predict possible problems with the confidentiality of personal data on the Internet of feelings. For example, it may be possible to manipulate feelings in order to sell goods or services. Although this technique is now actively used, just the tools are different.
