Article of the Institute staff published in Statistics, Optimization and Information Computing journal

An article Development of Oil Production Forecasting Method based on Deep Learning (DOI: 10.19139/soic-2310-5070-651)co-authored by the head of department Yadigar Imamverdiyev and leading researcher Fargana Abdullayeva was published in “Statistics, Optimization & Information Computing”  journal. 

The main purpose of the work is to develop a Deep Learning method that can accurately predict oil production based on monthly debits of oil wells. 

The article is based on scientific research carried out under the grant project NG-AI4Oil: Development of next-generation artificial intelligence technologies for oil fields, funded by the State Oil Company Science Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
