NVIDIA unveils Jetson Xavier NX single-board supercomputer

NVIDIA introduced the smallest in the world under the name Jetson Xavier NX. The dimensions of the novelty are 69.6 × 45 mm, which is about the same as the Lego figure. The performance of the Jetson Xavier NX is 15 times higher than that of the Jetson TX2.

Jetson Xavier NX comes with an NVIDIA Volta GPU with 384 NVIDIA CUDA cores and 48 tensor cores, plus 2x NVDLA. Jetson Xavier NX delivers up to 14 TOPS (at 10 watts) or 21 TOPS (at 15 watts).

In addition to this, the computer includes a 6-core Carmel Arm processor, up to six CSI cameras, 12 lines for the MIPI CSI-2 camera serial interface, 8 GB of 128-bit LPDDR4x memory, gigabit Ethernet and Ubuntu OS.

The Jetson Xavier NX is designed to be embedded in peripherals that require high performance and are "limited in size, weight, power consumption or cost." These can be commercial robots, high-resolution unmanned sensors, portable medical devices and industrial IoT systems.
