The 13th IEEE International Conference on the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (AICT 2019) today continues its work on a panel titled “Current and Future Trends in ICT Application and its Impact on the Society”.

Speaking here, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Engineering at ADA University, Araz Yusubov, said that the 21st century is a century of information and communication technologies, highlighting the great importance of ICT in the era of globalization. Araz Yusubov said that the faculty, which is headed by him, has trained specialists in this field and organized international events.

Morteza Garib, director of the Center for Autonomous Systems and Technology at the California Institute of Technology, said that people often cannot get modern medical equipment. Ms. Hagit Messer, a professor at Tel Aviv University, said that wireless communication channels are sensitive to weather. He focused on the challenges and opportunities of using 5G communication technologies, especially mmWave (millimeter waves) wireless communication. In addition to dealing with the technical difficulties of using communications as autonomous air sensors, it also provided a theoretical analysis of the potential benefits of this approach in terms of spatial resolution and accessibility.

Later, reports were presented by Professor Ilham Akhundov of the University of Waterloo of Canada and Professor Rafig Aliyev.
