Google Introduces Three Tools to Protect Your Personal Data

Google launched the “Cyber Security Awareness Month”, which introduced several new tools and life hacks. For example, the password manager for logging into Chrome and Android accounts, which will show their weaknesses, will notify you if the password has been compromised by recent hacks, and will track the use of the same character combinations for different accounts.

The incognito mode will appear in the Google Maps service, first on Android, and by the end of the month for iOS. When activated, it will be possible to work with cards, as before, but no information about user activity will be saved. Also, functions related to the personalization of work will automatically turn off, which may cause some difficulties. In this mode, there will be no traces of working with cards in your account.

A feature will be added to YouTube to automatically clear your browsing history and web data, which you can configure to erase traces at a certain interval. For example, delete all data older than 3 months or six months. It will work similarly to the browsing history cleanup feature.

And you can quickly delete the query history using the voice assistant, just asking him about it. You don’t need to pick up a smartphone and run the application, it will be enough just to say “Hey Google, delete everything that I asked today”. But there is one limiter - this way you can remove only fresh requests, weekly information will have to be manually deleted through the application.
