Biophysicist, graduate of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and Medical University. Sechenov Vladimir Kozlov created a unique glucometer that has no world analogues. According to "REGNUM", the system will allow you to measure blood sugar without punctures. The meter is a clip worn on the ear.
Sugar values are determined by the absorption of light by blood passing through the capillaries. The higher the concentration of sugar in the blood, the more light is absorbed. The measurement takes place every 30 seconds due to transillumination of the earlobe with an infrared beam with a certain wavelength. Measurement accuracy is 80%.
The data collected is processed by the system and transferred to a smartphone, where you can track the dynamics through a special application. In the future, the corresponding application should be available for download on Google Play.
