Sharp has announced the flagship smartphone Aquos Zero 2, which was the first in the world to receive a screen with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. Among other features of the new product is a powerful Snapdragon 855 processor, a rugged case and an NFC module for contactless payment.

The device received a 6.4-inch OLED display with a resolution of Full HD + (2340x1080 pixels), a built-in fingerprint scanner and a record refresh rate of 240 Hz by smartphone standards. The manufacturer also notes the high response speed of the device’s touch panel, which will provide a minimum response time to the user's fingers.

The gadget is built on the basis of the flagship mobile platform Snapdragon 855 with proprietary cooling system. The amount of RAM new items - 8 GB, internal storage - 256 GB. The battery capacity of the model with support for safe charging technology while using the device is 3130 mAh. The Aquos Zero 2 case is protected against water and dust according to the IP68 standard.

The main camera with optical image stabilization is represented by two sensors with a resolution of 12 (f / 1.7, viewing angle 78 °, EGF 26 mm, OIS) and 20 megapixels (f / 2.4, viewing angle 125 °, EGF 18 mm, EIS). Declared support for the proprietary engine ProPix2 for correcting image blur, as well as AI functions. The selfie module received one 8-megapixel sensor and the ability to unlock in the face.

The model also has an NFC sensor for making contactless payments. Dimensions of the new items are 158 x 75 x 8.8 mm, weight —143 grams. Out of the box, the smartphone runs Android 10.
