Apple has released a new WatchOS 6 update for its smartwatch. One of its features is the Noise app, which prevents a person from hearing loss.
New available only on the Apple Watch. It is able to capture loud sounds in the user's environment and send notifications to it if it considers that the owner of the gadget may be at risk of damage or hearing loss. Noise uses an embedded watch microphone to measure decibels in different places where a loud sound is made. When you turn on the application, the user in real time will see the measurement of sound in decibels.
The program will send a short notification about the sound level: “Loud” or “Ok”. Between 0 and 80 decibels, the sound is rather quiet and cannot cause hearing loss. If you exceed 80 decibels, a person can lose hearing for a long time depending on the volume. A separate item in the “noise” prog on the Apple Watch will allow you to familiarize yourself with the description of how often you can listen to sounds from 80 decibels or more.
